IGF-1 LR3 is an 83-amino acid recombinant analog of insulin-like growth factor-1 with a molecular weight of approximately 9,116 Da. It includes an Arg3 substitution and a 13-amino acid N-terminal extension, which reduce binding affinity to IGF binding proteins (IGFBPs), increasing bioavailability and receptor interaction.
