What It Is
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, an agent that inhibits the growth of bacteria. It is the standard diluent used to reconstitute lyophilized (freeze-dried) research peptides, and the added preservative allows a reconstituted vial to be used over multiple draws while remaining stable when refrigerated.
